Storage process with two different commodities flowing out
#7
Thanks. I ran the model, but I am not quite seeing what the problem is supposed to be.  Huh
I assume the technology in question should be RHUNSTGH02?

Can you explain what seems to be the problem that prompted you to make the statement "PCG = NRG did not work"? As far as I can see, all the model equations related to this storage seem correct. But yes, I do see that the storage RHUNSTGH02 is not being used for anything else but small charging of it to compensate the losses you have defined (you have forced the aggregated annual storage level to be 60, and so the losses have to be compensated by some charging). But otherwise this storage part of the model seems to be working as expected, minimizing the overall costs in a rational way.

So, maybe your problem is simply that the storage is not being used, due to not being competitive? I can see that the prices of the two outputs are nearly flat in each season, and so there does not seem to be sufficient incentive for utilizing the storage. But if you still think that it "does not work", maybe you could point out the equation(s) which you consider incorrect? You can obtain the full listing of model equations by setting LIMROW=99999 in the Control Panel.
