About transmission capacity - myhan - 15-01-2025
Can you please tell me what to do if I add the FX constraints for the CAP_BND attribute of the transmission process and it is shown in the items detail, but the capacity is not reached after running? Also, I would like to ask if the capacity constraints, investment cost, maintenance cost, etc. for the transmission process need to be defined in both REG1 and REG2 at the same time? I noticed that in EU_TIMES it is defined in both regions at the same time.

2020 needs to be a milestone year if you want to see results for it
Your FX bounds will not have any impact, given the years they are specified for and the milestoneyears you are running.

I tried to set the FX constraints for 2019 as well as 2021 transmission capacity and both took effect. However, I would also like to ask if the transmission capacity for bilateral power transmission needs to be set in both regions again, I found that setting it in only one region also works.

Excuse me, Scenario 1: A 10GW bidirectional transmission link exists between Region A and Region B. Scenario 2: A 10GW unidirectional transmission link exists between Region A and Region B. When defining capacity stock, should it be defined in both Region A and Region B, or only in one region? Beyond specifying bidirectional or unidirectional transmission, are there other differences to note during these two definition processes? I would be most grateful if you could reply.
